bulldog - 12 mar, 2005

bulldog is on its way to becoming one of the premier live music venues in kansas city. fascinating and delicious absinthe drinks served up in an bold yet elegant environment-- just the kind of place alacartoona likes to spend an evening.

and what an evening it turned out to be. the renowned bill belzer was on hand to witness alacartoona's beauty for the first time. he was seen fleeing from the room, tears in his eyes, shortly before the end. musical ironicist, charlie colborne looked on with glee as numerous cabaret virgins fell under her power. patrick and tami faulstich, long since anything near virgins, swayed together in the sweet tides of love, while scott nelson looked on in wonder. dancin' bob dorian graced the room with a rough yet dapper western flair (which tickled ruby's fancy, to be sure).

the beautiful timothy finn and the dashing chris cummins, kc star writer and photographer respectively, arrived early in an attempt to catch a glimpse of the spirit behind the glitter. both succeeded exceedingly well.
