when
anne garney
was planning the opening of her latest series of paintings, she
was looking for entertainment that would provide the perfect balance to her bright
architectural pieces. her choice? the dark and très humain alacartoona, of course.
on a stage of red velvet and black leather (designed by jim santilli),
alacartoona sang her songs of life fully lived, of love deeply known, of death
faced and conquered. the audience, there to enjoy the beautiful art, was soon
transfixed by another type of beauty, her beauty--moonlit, enshrouded, complex.
oh, the audience liked all the blatant sex, too.
special thanks to the aforementioned jim santilli, who not only designs beautiful
performance spaces but also provided his custom furniture shop,
kc upholstery,
as the venue for the show. amongst the other wonderful people on the scene, alacartoona
has to blow a kiss to the fearless dancers, whose teasingly bared swaths of skin
provided her with a number of fantasies to contemplate.
finally, alacartoona met for the first time
mr. al pitzner,
a photographic visionary and faithful pursuer of the passions of life. sir, may
you dance on into infinity.
