the brightest stars in the metro turned out for the
kc magazine
best of kansas city party. an annual affair, it's a toast to those
individuals and businesses that make kansas city such an amazing place
to live.
alacartoona was invited to provide the evening's entertainment, a task for
which she is uniquely qualified. after a set of lovely tunes designed to
inspire giddiness and a general love for the human race in those attending,
alacartoona surrendered the stage to one of the city's most beloved
celebrities, meteorologist
bryan busby.
one short speach and breathless awards ceremony later, alacartoona remounted the boards
to lead the party to its final crescendo.
it would be utterly impossible to name all the luminaries present so alacartoona
will just mention a few of her friends. the oh-so lovely couple of ed & cathy schultz,
owners of latte land, were there to make the room that much more beautiful.
